We’re proud to have been nominated by the Royal Television Society and the British Academy BAFTA for our productions, over 400 hours for the BBC, ITV and Channel 4.

Our celebrated series After Dark was described in the national press as “the most intelligent, thought-provoking and interesting programme ever to have been on television”.

Open Media was founded over 30 years ago - a pioneering company in the new era of independent television production in the UK – and has made entertainment, documentaries and factual specials which sell all over the world.

In 2020, Open Media’s £1.5m history of postwar Britain - made in partnership with the BBC, BFI and The National Archive - celebrated ten years online.

Today we license our footage while focussing on providing global problem-solving consultancy services.
